| In case you hadn't noticed... |
THE LIBRARY'S NOW OPEN!!!! Come on in and see for
yourself, it was totally worth the wait. Check
out the Young Adult Room, located on the second
floor, and be sure to get a copy of the events
calendar for October -- you won't want to miss a
thing!

| Extended summer programming! |
Due to popular demand, we will add two programs
for teens this summer. While not technically part
of Summer Reading, which officially ends on the
17th, you've asked to have these particular
programs. June 24th at 6:00 will be a high tea
and discussion of Jane Austen books and movies.
And July 31st will be an encore presentation of
our Twilight celebration for those of you who
missed the first one, or just want to come again.
After these programs, we'll be ready to move into
the new library, where I hope to see you in our
very own teen area!

Don't forget that this Thursday we're having
cooking demonstrations and contests at 6:00 just
for teens!

Our first teen event of the summer is on May 29th
at 6:00. It's an Indiana Jones themed event on
legends and mysteries -- as always, there will be
food!

| Summer Reading is coming soon! |
The theme for this year's teen program is Find
What's Out There @ Your Library. We have lots of
activities planned for Thursday Teen Nights during
May-July, including a couple of anime nights, a
Twilight discussion, a creative writers'
night, and much more. Check out the calendar
section of the site for more information. Sign-ups
begin May 27th, and our first teen night is May
29th!
